1. The liquefied gas used in gas heaters must be pure propane liquefied gas. Pure propane liquefied gas is 5-10 yuan more expensive per can (15 kg can) than ordinary liquefied gas. (The main components of liquefied gas include propane, butane, propylene, butene, etc. Pure propane is of better quality than liquefied gas and is much more expensive. Generally, propane is used more in industry and restaurants.) The companies that usually deliver liquefied gas have propane liquefied gas and cheap liquefied gas. When purchasing, just indicate that you want pure propane gas.
The hazards of using cheap liquefied gas: 1. The gas pressure is low and the fire is not big. Often after burning for 0.5-2 hours, the pressure will decrease rapidly, the fire will become very small, and it cannot be used normally. 2. Long-term use of cheap liquefied gas with impurities will cause the solenoid valve of the heater to malfunction or reduce its sensitivity. Fault phenomenon: After ignition, let go, and the heater will automatically cut off the gas and extinguish.
2. Since the long-open flame function of the umbrella-shaped gas heater is very troublesome to use, the umbrella-shaped heaters produced by various manufacturers in the past two or three years have basically cancelled the long-open flame function. Therefore, during the operation, once the control knob is rotated to the deflation position, the igniter should be pressed continuously until it is ignited. If the ignition action is too slow, a large amount of gas will be released, affecting the smell of the space.
3. Cabinet gas heaters usually use the first gear to ignite directly, and the other two gears are ignited with the first gear, which takes about 2-3 seconds. A small amount of gas will be discharged during this 2-3 seconds, causing odor in the space, so it is not recommended to switch it on and off frequently. In addition, some small factories produce inferior cabinet heaters, and the ignition time of the 2nd and 3rd gears is relatively long, and some are even up to 1 minute. In this case, users can shake their hands in front of the combustion plate to accelerate air flow, which can greatly shorten the ignition time and reduce gas leakage.
Parts list of umbrella heater
Cabinet gas heaters are packed as finished products when they leave the factory, and customers do not need to install them by themselves. They can be used after unpacking (usually equipped with a pressure reducing valve, customers only need to connect the gas source to use it).
Parts list of umbrella heaters: from top to bottom: reflector cover, burner head, main support rod, gas bottle cover, support pipe, base. As shown in Figure 1: As for installation, don't worry, it's quite simple. Generally, you can install it quickly without reading the instructions. A wrench is provided in the packaging box.
