1. Thermal efficiency
The average value of gas wall-mounted boilers is about 92%, while electric wall-mounted boilers use electricity, so their thermal efficiency is almost 100%. On the surface, electric wall-mounted boilers have a slight advantage. But in fact, it is not. Everyone knows a common sense: the greater the power of an appliance, the higher the energy consumption, and the loss is usually very large. When large appliances are in working state, the meter will rotate very fast, and there will be more modern household appliances. In this case, keeping the electric wall-mounted boiler working 24 hours a day may affect the entire circuit load, and there are serious safety hazards, especially during peak electricity consumption, it is difficult to ensure its normal use.
2. Energy consumption
Assuming that the price of natural gas is 2 yuan/cubic meter, the monthly gas cost of a gas wall-mounted boiler in the heating season for a 100-square-meter house is about 700 yuan (including cooking and providing domestic water); while the electric wall-mounted boiler converts electrical energy into heat energy. For the same 100-square-meter house, at least a 9KW electric wall-mounted boiler is required for heating, and the monthly electricity bill is about 1,200 yuan. Therefore, by comparison, gas wall-mounted boilers save a lot of money.
3. Safety performance
Electric wall-mounted boilers have a simple structure. If there is any danger, it is generally only the hidden danger of leakage and aging of large components after a long period of use. The structure of gas wall-mounted boilers is relatively complex, involving both leakage and gas leakage, which seems to be less safe. But in fact, the production technology of gas wall-mounted boilers is mature now, and the relevant quality is guaranteed and must pass the inspection of relevant national departments, and the qualified rate must be 100% before it can leave the factory.
