Type
Electric Radiant Heating
These systems use electric coils, often installed under floors, to generate heat, warming the floor surface. They are typically used for supplemental heating in smaller areas.
Hydronic Radiant Heating
This is a highly energy-efficient method that uses a boiler to heat water, which is then circulated through tubing under the floor. This system can be the sole heating source for an entire home.
Air-Based Radiant Heating
This method uses heated air to transfer warmth, but it's considered the least efficient of the three and is not usually recommended for whole-home heating.
